How do I manage and review my account fees and payments on Hip?

Charges to your credit or debit card on file occur when your balance exceeds $250 or on the first of the month, whichever comes first.

Where can I view my fees, and charges?

You can view the details of your account activity, including any fees incurred and payments made, by visiting your Account History page:

You can view specific details of your account activity by using the "Filter By" button, where you can also specify the date range allowing you to view transactions from the past year or within a specific date range:

  • TOTAL DEBITS: The total fees make up your account balance. This generally consist of monthly recurring charges such as subscription fee, sales transaction fees for sales made, and listing setup fees for items you put up for auction. If you have an annual subscription, it is charged once every year and then renewed accordingly, while all other fees are billed monthly.
  • TOTAL CREDITS: Any credits issued to you, including those resulting from combined invoices, contribute to your account credits. Your actual fees are calculated by subtracting these total credits from your total debits.
  • TOTAL PAYMENTS: The total amount you have paid is indicated as "Receipts."

Keep in mind that when you sell items at auction or offer to the same buyer, we'll automatically combine invoices (up to a specific period of days). When this happens we'll issue you a credit for the final value fees on the original order, and create a new one, with updated final value fees. As a result, if you sell a large amount at auction or offer, you may see a higher amount of total debits than you're expecting, but please note that to calculate your actual total fees incurred, you will need to subtract the total credits from that amount.

Any amount owed from the previous month, even if you have already closed your store, will be automatically charged to your credit card.
